We are recruiting for a Content & PR Executive to join our Marketing Team at our Head Office in Bracknell. This role offers hybrid working, with 2 days per week from home.

About the role …

The Content & PR executive will play a crucial role in supporting all aspects of marketing, including PR, Social Media, Email, Digital Marketing, Print and e-Commerce. Your expertise in creating, briefing, editing and optimising our content will be instrumental in driving our marketing success. With your keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of what great content looks like, you will be able to work seamlessly across a diverse range of platforms and content subjects.

Key Responsibilities …

Develop and execute content strategy that aligns with the overall marketing plan and drives brand awareness and engagement across various digital platforms including email, social media (organic and paid), website and print
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure content meets business needs and goals
Optimise content (SEO) for search engines to improve organic visibility and drive traffic to the website
Develop and execute PR strategies, focusing on campaigns that will engage our trade and retail customers, build our brand awareness, and position Sally Europe as the market leader
Draft press releases that have had successful pick up within target media, and managed the process of pitching exclusive stories to key press
Work collaboratively with our PR agency to ensure all events are set up for success, with the relevant marketing support
Manage brand deployment and ensure that all channels fulfil contracts
Working closely and building relationships with brands to deliver a range of communication assets on time

About you …

2 to 3 years experience in a marketing related role
Excellent copywriting and communication skills
Strong organisational and administrative skills
Ability to effectively manage time and work in a fast paced environment
A creative and critical thinker with strong attention to detail
Passionate about the Hair and Beauty industry
Self-motivated with a positive can-do attitude
Public Relations experience is a plus
