Supply Chain Coordinator (Temporary Position - Until Mid February 2025)

We are looking for a Supply Chain Administrator to join the team at our Head Office in Ghent until Mid February 2025.

About the role …

Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager this role will involve looking after the inbound and outbound planning process for a category division across Sally Europe divisions/channels (retail & B2B).

Working cross functionally with the entire Supply Chain team, Commercial and Space Planning. Ensuring that stock is booked in to DC’s on time ready for store allocations to be raised allowing stores to have the correct stock levels for the customer.

Key Responsibilities …

• Pro-actively work with suppliers to minimize planned impacts on future supply (holiday’s, increased commercial demand, factory shutdown
• Working with suppliers to resolve inbound problems and escalation of any supplier issues to the necessary planners and actively work with category manager to resolve
• Liaising with warehouse to ensure the intake is scheduled correctly
• Chasing the supplier for updates if the stock is late and communicating this to all relevant parties
• Collect, validate, maintain and store all SKU / Supplier data
• Ensure Distribution Centre has full visibility of all applicable SKU’s and where appropriate necessary guidance provided
• Provide specific data on Hazardous and Commodity Codes for current stock to allow information to be shared with the distribution centre

About you ...

• Fluent in Dutch and English is essential, knowledge of French is desirable
• Understands the end to end supply chain process.
• Excellent planning and organisational skills
• Ability to manage time effectively, experienced in working to and delivering against deadlines
• Proactive, self-motivated, organised and diligent with great attention to detail
• Thorough knowledge of shipping regulations and policies is a plus
• Actively builds and promotes cross functional working relationships
