We are recruiting for a Business Systems Analyst to join our Store Support Centre in Bracknell. This role offers hybrid working, with 2 days per week from home.
About the role …
You will be part of a team of Business Systems Analysts defining and maintaining business processes and functions. You will be responsible for delivering a consistent, clear and detailed set of business requirements, analysing key processes and producing clear, accurate, agreed documentation.
Key Responsibilities …
- Work with the Project Manager and business stakeholders to identify and define the business problem and business case
- Support, own, clarify and validate both functional and non-functional requirements including the resolution of conflicting requirements ensuring that all changes are recorded, managed and communicated to all relevant parties
- Working with users to translate ideas into technical specifications of IT requirements
- Lead the definition, evaluation and agreement of the business solution options (collaborating with key stakeholders across the business and technology teams) ensuring they are consistent with the overall business strategy
- Work with the wider project teams to enable the solutions to be embedded within the business through the development of communications and training material
- Support the project manager in identifying project risks, impacts and mitigating actions
- Support test activities by ensuring acceptance criteria are well documented and have the appropriate level of coverage. Facilitate test activities within the end to end project process
About you …
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a Business Analyst role
- Familiar with Microsoft AX Dynamics ERP; recognised qualifications would be an advantage
- Experience of UML and RUP
- Proven experience of working across the full project lifecycle (from initiation through to benefits realization) within both structured and agile project framework
- Ability to problem solve and challenge
- Customer focused with the ability to influence decision making
- Experience of working with teams in multiple locations
- Ability to think strategically, allowing individuals to contribute to the development of BA processes and best practices
