We are looking for a Warehouse Supervisor, based at our Distribution Centre, Walker Park in Blackburn.

About the role …

As a Warehouse Supervisor you will be responsible for effectively managing your team in a multi activity daily operation that consistently achieves specified performance targets. Known for your professionalism and diligence, you will reliably secure and open/close the distribution centre at the required times and respond to alarm calls when necessary.

Key Responsibilities …

Assisting in the efficient performance of all operational activities to deliver high standards
Ensuring an adherence to health and safety requirements
Achievement of specified KPIs
Supporting the Shift Managers in the day to day operational tasks associated with the shift
Support a positive and value-driven culture
Ensuring the shift is operationally fully compliant with all work instructions
Managing, coaching and developing a team of operatives

About you …

Ability to work the full range of shift patterns
Professional Logistics Qualification or two years' relevant experience in a supervisory role
Excellent communicator able to communicate at all levels both verbally and written
Excellent organisational skills
Excellent people manager, able to manage performance and Employee Relations in a fair & consist manner
Able to motivate & develop a team
